17^th October - 19.15 Flight from London to Nairobi, arriving 06.05 then another flight to arrive in Kilimanjaro at 08.50 on Saturday, 18^th October.

                      Met with Pendo Maday - from the Barbaque tribe

23rd October  Arusha – Ngorongoro   Distance: 190 km

Afternoon drive to Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area crossing on the way the small villages of Mto Wa Mbu and Karatu with wonderful views of the high altitude rain forest surrounding Ngorongor. Dinner & overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge
 
24th October -  Ngorongoro

Breakfast and departure for game viewing on the crater floor of one of Africa s true wonders of nature. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge 

25th October -  Ngorongoro/Manyara  Distance 60 kms

Drive to Manyara for lunch, afternoon game drive in Manyara National Park. Kirurumu Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight.
 
26th October - Manyara/Tarangire  Distance: 125 km

Morning drive to Tarangire for lunch and afternoon game drive in the home of the best elephant population in the North of the Country. Dinner & overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge.
 
27th October - Tarangire

Morning and afternoon game drives. Dinner & overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge.
 
28th October  - Tarangire/Arusha   Distance 120 km

Early morning game drive.  Return to  Arusha and overnight at L'Oasis Safari Lodge 
 
29th October

Depart Arusha for Arusha National Park. Begin the 10km trek from Momella gate, crossing the Ngarenanyuki river and past the Fig tree arch to Miriakamba hut (2514m) for overnight.
 
30th October

Trek for about 2-3 hours, a distance of about 4km to Saddle hut (3570m) for lunch.
Afternoon trek to the summit of Little Meru (3820m), approx 2 hours return.
Very scenic views of the Meru Summit, the top of the ashcone and the crater horseshoe as well as the great dome of Kilimanjaro.
 
31st October  Trek 9km (5-6 hrs) to Momella gate. Stay at the  KIA Lodge overnight (next to the airport)
 
Sat 1^st November  - Early morning departure for flight at 06.00am via Nairobi to arrive in London at 16.15
