Prvine

Čemšeniška planina

We were introduced to this mountain area by Dusan and Alenka Kastelic. Dusan is a graphic designer and video producer whom I had become acquainted with in my work with Xara. We travelled by train to Zagorje ob Savi station through magnificent scenery along the Sava River. After a drive of approx 30 minutes from the station we headed up into the hills. The walking path from Prvine passes through a beech forest until it opens up to a narrow path on the edge of the hillside, providing spectacular views over the surrounding hills. At the end of the 45 minute walk we arrived at our goal, Čemšeniška planinato, a café mountain hut, where we all sat with a coffee and admired the stunning views.
