Sat, 8th            - London to Madrid - 06.25 > 09.40   -  Madrid to San Jose 12.05 > 16.20
                       - Crowne Plaza Carobici hotel overnight

 
Sun, 9th           - Morning San Jose city tour

                       - Afternoon transfer to Puerto Caldera (2 hours) and embark the Star Flyer

                       - The Star Flyer set sail at 10pm.
 
Mon, 10th        - At Sea
 
Tues, 11th       - Morning scuba diving followed by beach BBQ, kayaking and laser sailing at Isla Gamez, Panama
 
Wed, 12th        - Zip lining at Golfito, Panama
 
Thurs, 13th      - Drake Bay and Isla de Cano. Afternoon trek in Corcavado National Park
 
Fri, 14th           - Afternoon horse-riding in Manuel Antonio National Park and walk around Quepos
 

Sat, 15th          - Morning trek in the National Reserve of Curu

                       - Afternoon snorkelling off Isla Tortugas.

 
Sun, 16th         - Disembark Star Flyer at Puerto Caldera

                       - Drive to Peace Lodge and La paz waterfall garden, Vara Blanca

                       - Visited the many wildlife exhibits and walked to the waterfalls.

                       - Peace Lodge for 2 nights.
 
Mon, 17th        - Visit to Poas Volcano in the morning.
                      - Afternoon relaxation, walk around the grounds and visit the wildlife exhibits
 
Tues, 18th        - To Tortuguero
                        - Left at 6am to drive to San Jose to meet with transport to Tortuguero

                          4 hour drive (last hour on stoney track) to meet the boat that took us to Tortuga Lodge.

                       - Tortuga Lodge for 2 nights
 
Wed, 19th        -Morning boat tour through the rain-forested waterways of Tortuguero National Park.

                      - Afternoon at leisure.
 
Thurs, 20th       - To Arenal

                       - Small aircraft flight back to San Jose (30 mins) and drive to the Northern plains of La Fortuna

                          and the Arenal Volcano (3.5 hours) 

                      - Hotel Arenal Kioro suite for 3 nights
 
Fri, 21st           - Rio Celeste Trek
 
Sat, 22nd         - Arenal Hanging Bridges and afternoon at leisure
 
Sun, 23rd        - Monteverde

                      - Boat transfer across Arenal Lake then drive to Monteverde (2 hours on stoney country track)

                      - Afternoon at leisure.

                      - Hidden Canopy Treehouse; Eden room for 2 nights
 
Mon 24th         - Monteverde Sky Walk and Sky Tram tour

                      - Afternoon tour to El Trapiche, a Costa Rican sugar mill.
 
Tues, 25th       - To Manuel Antonio National Park on the Central Pacific Coast (3 hours, the first hour + on stoney track)

                      -  Rest of the day at leisure.

                      -  Hotel Arenas del Mar; Ocean breeze suite for 4 nights
 
Wed, 26th        - At leisure, morning walk along the beach to Manuel Antonio Park.
 
Thurs, 27th      - At leisure, afternoon walk to Biesanz Beach
 
Fri, 28th           - Morning guided walk in Manuel Antonio National park. (due to illness, transferred from Wednesday

                         but would have been better earlier so you get your bearings for the other days here)
 
Sat, 29th          - Morning at leisure. 11am transfer to Juan Santamaria International Airport (3hrs)
                        - San Jose to San Salvador 17.25 > 18.35  San Salvador to  Madrid - 19.50 > 13.15
 
Sun, 30th         - Madrid to London  15.15 > 16.35. Arrive London. (15.15 arr 16.35)
