A cruise around the islands
Our Canarians Flavour cruise was a whirlwind tour of the Canaries plus Madeira giving us a small taste of the islands that we visited each day. The islands were all different but mostly barren except Madeira and La Gomera. We saw plenty of barren land, lava fields and cacti. Lanzarote was the most volcanic and La Gomera was the greenest of the Canaries but Madeira surpassed them all for botanic plants. We experienced plenty of winding, steep, narrow roads especially the scary road down to Masca in Tenerife. Also we visited many small industries; including a goat farm making cheese, aloe vera production and wineries. Click the links at the topto find out more about each of the islands we visited.
