TOLI TOLI

We were welcomed by the locals with music and dance before boarding local betaks (pedi-cabs) to be cycled to the local market to see the trading of local crops. We then boarded minibuses (including the local police buses) to be taken to the traditional house “Rumah Adat of Toli Toli”. There we experienced a local culture performance of Maragai dance, Mamanuk Tau Panau dance and Mogilut, the ritual ceremony of traditional treatment for pregnant women. We returned to the ship on a town visit via the old mosque and Immanuel Church.
